Hello All - Seeking #5 Heads also
While I do not have an Olds cage to go with my Olds motor, I hope that doesnt make me a second class citizen.
I do have a 79 TA (wouldnt of guessed with my UN eh?) that has the 403 power plant and I would like to find a set of #5 Heads (although not opposed to #6 or #7 heads).
I would have posted in the wanted section but seems new members arent allowed. /shrug
Thanks

Welcome
Welcome to the site. Let me dig around and see what I've got.
Not too long ago we were having a big problem with spam. To stop it, we set up the Newbie section where new members can sign on and introduce themselves.
Please tell us about your car[s] and where you’re from in this thread. After you have posted 5 times you will be able to navigate the entire site. You don’t have to wait for a response to post again to make your 5 post..
I hope this isn’t too confusing, if you have any questions just post them here and someone will answer them.
Glad to have you on board with us.

Thanks all.
About my cars.
DD is a 2000 Ford (ducks) Mustang GT Vert. Motor replaced at 64K due to Valve/piston contact. 20K on new motor, basic bolt on's, CAK, MAF, Pulley's, Headers. 4.10's going in next week.
Project vehicle is the 79 TA. Fell in love with this car when I was a youngin and just had to have one. Well, found the car, 6.6, T-tops, 4 wheel disc, decent shape, for 2K a couple years ago. Has the 15x7 rims that someone thought would look good painted completly gold with house paint and the usuall assortment of spare parts (carbs, window regulators, etc) in trunk. Interior pretty much a loss but Im not a purist so aftermarket items will work for me. I have already purchased some new interior components and other peices for about 1.5K more.
Then i decided to purchase a house. Lost my job 6 months later and was lucky enough to get another one but unfortunatly not for the same pay. Most of my money went into keeping the house, water and food so no additional work or parts purchased. Im out of the hole now and hoping to have it running again by new year. It wont be complete but are they ever?
