Looking for a/c compressor brackets off an 80’s 307.
my 79 regency 403 is missing the compressor and brackets, but I want to install the smaller radial compressor from the 80s. I’m near Toronto..ish Ontario.

I'm not certain, but you may need to change your pulleys if you use different brackets/compressor.

Good point, didn’t think of that. Now that I think of it, it would be unlikely I would be able to change just the compressor bracket and all else line up.
I think I just found a complete 307 hurst olds engine with all of the accessories.
update if anyone likes fixing a/c..
Used the R4 compressor and brackets that came with the 307. All lined up fine. I'm doing this all on the super cheap because it's a bit of a turd. Initial plan was to pull the 403/400 out and sell but he car was too solid and decent to do that so it's turned into another driver that I didn't budget for. However, I want the a/c working lol.
There isn't any olds powered late 70's or 80's parts cars around here.
So to make a discharge line set, I combined the line set from an 88 chevy pick up and an 84 cadillac seville.
The condenser is out of a 82 pontiac parisienne, the accumulator is out of an 85 caprice. The 84 seville also had a recent reman compressor, so I snagged that too.
Flushed out all of the parts, added poly ester oil (with dye), cleaned out the orfice tube, vacuumed the heck out of the system and charged it up with r134a. Ran it for a few days, took out the orfice tube to inspect and replace, install a new accumulator, add poly oil, vacuum for a couple hours again. Recharge with 12a and she works minty! I took the fan clutch and 7 blade fan out of the seville so the head pressure is always nice and low.
Pretty silly for the hassle, but I wanted that a/c working and I'm a stubborn sob.
