72 Stone Shield, Headlight Housing & 442 Emblems

Looking for a good 70-72 Stone Shield (no grills needed) and left/right plastic headlight housings. Also need 442 Grill emblem and would be interested in other 442 Emblems too (fenders, truck glove).

PM me.

Where are you located? 71-72 Stone shields are more expensive to ship safely boxed than you'd think. I may have these parts in nice shape, and I'm sure others do as well.

Stone shields are still available via your GM dealer. Brand new. Use the Part number on the back of one and try.

about $100 last I purchased one.

You would be foolish to pay top dollar for some of the used ones I've seen out there.

Thanks John! Do you know if GM still makes the plastic headlight housings too?

don't believe so. I think those are aftermarket now.. Start with Fusick and go from there. I can't remember where I saw them...

FYI stone shields are not used in 1970 just 71-72. For 1972 the glove box emblem reads Cutlass on a hardtop & Cutlass Supreme on a convertible when the W-29 option was ordered. 1971 was the last year for a 442 glove box emblem.

If I recall correctly you are in Lethbridge & I have everything you need in Cochrane (NOS stone shield, used plastic headlight buckets & used badges for a '72 442). There are likely other things you need or lust for that I have too.

I am out on an oil rig in NE BC but will be home at the end of the month. PM me to finalize details & prices.
