Wow, just checked that completed auction out of curiosity...$450 was probably not a bad deal. I paid close to $400 for one around 8 years ago, it was near mint except for some very small cracks on the back at 3 and 9 clock positions. They do not come up for auction very often, you pretty much have to pounce when they do (as is the case with all rare pieces).
Just found a VERY nice Custom Deluxe wheel for my '65 Jetstar I for just under $300; needless to say, I pounced on it (been looking for over 6 years)
