1968 cutlass power antenna ecutscheon and interior headliner side moldings

A friend is looking for a very nice power antenna ecutscheon that sits on top of the quarter panel. Its the bottom piece that sits oon top of the gasket nd then the top piece which is threaded and has two notches that is used to tighten it down. His are pitted and flaking. Also good straight dent free anodized headliner strips that run from the visors to sail panels.

Power antenna bezel works for 68 and 69. If I remember correctly Convert and 4drs bezels are not the same as 2dr closed body styles.

Not sure about body styles. being its top of the quarter near the trunk I wonder how different that area is between the models. Either way I need the two pieces.

2 door has a "V" on the bottom and straddles the peak break. 4 door/vert one is angled with a single break which mirrors the panel. I used a big car one for my convertible. The angle seemed slightly different than the 4 door/convertible but you can't tell the difference once it was installed. Henry could probably tell you if they are definitely different

edit:

I just checked Ames and they reproduce the part for a 68-69 GTO but there isn't a picture of it. You might want to call them

If you ever find one, I would like to purchase or borrow your old pieces for a guide to have some machined out of aluminum. No one is reproducing these and they are very hard to find . Thanks, Charles

I agree that we need someone to take on the project of having these made in clear anodized AL or perhaps SS.

X3 on someone reproducing these. The power antennas aren't too tough to find since they were used on many GM cars of the era, but those chrome spacers are Olds specific and pretty scarce. #400017 for hardtop & post coupe, #400018 for convertible & 4 door, 1968-69

Big car ones are very close. That's what I used.
