i would consider the drum to be part of the hub altho they can be separated .to my knowledge they are the same.your spindle didn't get damaged?c

No I was extremely fortunate that it Come out relitively un scathed, thought if I had to drive it any long that might not have been the case

The problem then becomes if you need the drum on/with the hub... pricey shipping, and finding a drum that isn't beyond use.

The hub is different because the bolt pattern on the Olds is 5" on5 . The Chevy is 4 & 3/4" on 5. the inner wheel bearings are different too so I would have to say that the spindles would be different too.
Maybe someone with a Hollender interchange manual will chime in and can tell you what else might interchange.
Olds, Pontiac and Buick shared little chassis parts interchangability with Chevy in full size cars before 1971.

So, Mike as we talked yesterday. Hub/and drum. I will pull one for you today and inspect it as we discussed.

Per Hollander there is an early and a late hub size. One is 1 25/32" Early, and the late is 2 5/64" So make sure you check that and I will too.

My car has a build date of 04A so most likely a late. But, as I said I will check today.

Larry

Still in need of an early hub/drum for a '65 with the 1-25/32" spindle size.
