It's a great solid near perfect car. I bought this car about a month ago from Arizona and it's absolutely rust free.. Why part it out? Well it's a 70 and I'm trying to make the car 100% correct, so the entire front end has to go. Also it's going back to it's original color *46 Ming Jade, at the time an additional cost Toronado color.

That makes sense then
Never seen a car with just one of the sport mirrors. That would also have to change to match the one year only style. Is the rear bumper 71/72?

Has the correct 70 rear bumper with the cutouts. I recently bought a pair of 70 sport mirrors so yes the mirror has to go as well. Also the 70 CS interior is perfect but unfortunately it blue. That will also have to go as I'm changing the interior to the correct color white pearl. Thanks for the comments, if you see anything else that's weird please let me know.

My 72 Chevelle SS had just on sport mirror from the factory. Always thought it needed a right side but sold it before I found one.

I believe Legendary Auto Interiors has the proper White (pearl) for your car. It was the same color application for 70 and 71 apparently. In 72 white became exactly that.
Here's a link to Legendary showing the Pearl White front seats. You can search out the door panels and rear seats. I was a bit surprised at how much the prices have gone up though

Thank you for your support and the info...
And that's the right way to go about this. Unless it's absolutely essential to have everything bone stock at huge costs, go with what will do the job. FWIW, I believe that if you have perfect fenders they likely are OEM instead of repro ones. I'd keep them too!

You're welcome. That page may take some time to load (unfortunately) so if it's a problem here's the link to their home page where you can do a sourcing for the required parts. Legendary Catalogue drop down Menu
One thing I would suggest PRIOR to any order of this size though is to definitely take up Legendary on their suggestion to ask for a sample before placing the full order. That way you can see if it's what you want and also avoids any issues with possible return shipping if you're not happy. Legendary has one of the best customer service reputations for product and service in the aftermarket industry.

Hello Joey,
I might be interested but I have a few questions. Is it a 71 or 72 core support? They are a bit different and won't fit all grills. Is it solid under the battery tray?
Also, can you tell if the fenders are OEM? Is the bottom structure of the rear of the lower fender still in tact?
Thanks.
Ben

The initial set of photo's (far right) clearly shows the hump on the core support for the 72 grill clearance , so yes it is a 72 core support.
