I'm looking at your first picture, the one that's kind of hazy. For some reason, it looks more to me like 7028251, not 7029251. Could you confirm the number on your carb, please? Thank you!

I see what you are saying. It definately is # 7029251. It's hard to get a real clean pic from a Blackberry. Sorry.

You should mention that it has the hot air choke which is incompatible with the '68-9 divorced choke system, though it is easy to convert to electric.

Since stuff has been modified, you may wish to cite the exact body and base casting ID numbers- the teeeeensy digits in a circle about 1/2" dia. Base usually at left rear corner, body usually on aft face.

With that funky looking "air cleaner" :-) in place I can't tell if your choke plate is easily converted to the divorced choke or if the whole air horn would need to be swapped out.

Thanks for the heads up.

I will check for and list it here.

I will take off the "air cleaner" and post more pics.

Carb

Seems to be missing the vacuum dashpot, bracket for same, and rod to the secondary air valves. Also looks like there is an extra vacuum port off of the base plate just to left of EGR port and the port to the dashpot is capped off. Its a lot different than the 7029251 I have on my Cutlass (with divorced choke)

I bought this as a part of a package deal. Didn't need it, but had to take it. Thought it was a fair price because it is a Quadrajet for 1969 OLDSMOBILE 455. The # stamped on it is 7029251 which confirms it.

If it was modified, it wasn't by me. I got it exactly as pictured. What do you think it's worth ?
