Arrow NOS Thermostatic Vacuum Switches GM #3030975/ACDELCO #212-26

NOS TVS for many, many applications.
specs: 3-port, 220*F switching, 1/2" -14 N.P.T.
cross references to PVS1 standard motor products & 13200 Tomco
seems to be functionally equivalent to several gm numbers across all brands.
appearance seems to be the only issue.

http://img703.imageshack.us/slidesho...398168obd.smil

top port(white) ported vacuum
middle port(black) distributor
bottom port(black) manifold vacuum

this TVS is for the hot idle speed-up feature that was used on gm vehicles as early as 1967 on up through the 70's. if the coolant temperature reaches ~220*F, manifold vacuum is sent to the distributor vacuum advance to speed up the idle to help cool the motor(higher fan & water pump speed, advanced timing).

Great price for a NOS Unit,

but a small correction for the cutlass application would be The DVCS was used in 71 and 72.

On our 71 and 72 cars, it had an electrical connection on top which advanced the timing when the car is in 3rd gear on the highway.

No problem, just thought id bring it up for others to know.

But again, I think that's a really good price for whoever needs it. If this was a DVCS I'd buy every one you had!

Hi Bill. I would be interested to buy. I don't seem to be able to view the picture. I wanted to be sure it was the right one for my car. I am sure it will be the same. Can you PM me about arrangement for payment?

Thanks
Mike
