NOS Thermometer 1972-1973-1974 Cutlass 442 Hurst Olds
******SOLD******NOS Oldsmobile accessory thermometer, part # 983381. The original box is distressed on one end. For any of the 1972-1974 Oldsmobile models. Original templates and instructions for the 1973-1974 cars. Photocopies for the 1972 cars. 100% complete and ready for show car service. PM me if interested.

Beautiful! I've never seen one of these thermometers in the older style box.
In my Oldsmobile literature I've got a letter from Oldsmobile Division to the dealerships that said for cars equipped with these thermometers, the thermometer was in the glovebox and it was part of dealer prep to install them. Originally Olds started putting them on at the assembly plants but the thermometers were getting ripped off the doors by vandals when the cars were sitting in rail yards en route to the dealerships.
