have a tilt, telescoping steering column from a '69 olds 98. The telescoping lock doesn't hold if it's pulled on with some general gumption. Instead of trying to fix, I replaced. I imagine someone with more knowledge than I could take it apart and tighten the mechanism. Anyone interested, make an offer. I also have tons of chrome from the same car.
