Just an FYI...I was experiencing the same issue with my car, same exact symptoms! Replaced dist(MSD), spark box and coil, one at a time! Lets just say, I now have doubles of everything! By the way, car still doing the same thing....even more embarassing! Did you resolve the problem on yours?Thanks....Erik

I've only got about 30 min run time on the new MSD stuff, so I really can't comment if the problem has been fixed. But ALL the ignition is new, so I hope it's gone!

OK, only reason I'm asking is because, we will be putting HEI in the '70 Vista 355, and am interested in buying your unit. If you have the same issues with the MSD as I am having, I will be even more interested in it... Also, how old is it and approx how many miles on it? Have you had the problem pretty much from the get go? Do you believe the coil pack to be good? Thanks , Erik

My guess is it's 5-6 years old, and probably only 1,000 or so miles on it. And yes the car has randomly died on me over all those years.

I'll dig around and see if I can find the other gear as well.
