For large items, don't overlook that the bus lines carry a significant amount of freight. Have to deliver it to and pick it up from the bus stop/depot .. but they're frequently the cheapest way to send large, awkward items.

Chris, FWIW my 1983 Regency Brougham sedan not only had the rear sway bar, it had a posi rear end. I always thought that was unusual for a large car like that, but the handling was really superb and I almost never got stuck anywhere.

Do you possibly have a good dash pad? From what I understand, the '83 & '84 models had the same dash. The downsized '77 Eighty-Eights & Ninety-Eights do handle very well when equipped with the FE-2 suspension, and do well in the snow/mud when equipped with a posi rear axle.

Too hot to stop at the yard today,
It has a dash but cond??
It may have had posi, for when I met the car the c clip type axles were out and the carrier was gone.

PS THIS IS A TWO DOOR CAR
bench seat with tilting backs.

Re dash pads :

1977-1985 D88
1977-1984 Ninety Eight
1977-1990 CCSW

There are differences in trim panels - speedometers - switch locations - radios/mounting - available colors - etc over the years

But in regards to the actual dash pad, any of the above should work.
