Quadrajet identification

Can someone either ID my carb for me or point me to somewhere that I can do it myself? I'm also looking for someplace to send it for a rebuild.
Casting #7028273

Thanks,
Dave

I Googled it. Amazing what you can find. 1968 Pontiac GTO Ram Air II, 400, manual transmission.

Before you spend money, check out a Pontiac site or two and see if this is rare at all.

For a rebuilder, I'll continue to recommend Dan Sarvis (Wblue70@aol.com). Great engine and carburetor man and an Olds driver and racer to boot.

Googling it didn't even occur to me...I just did it, too, and no s**t, it's a 1968 Pontiac RamAir 400 MT, or 1969 Pontiac RamAir III 400 MT. Wonder how it wound up on my Olds? I'll have to ask my father-in-law; he owned the car since 1971!

He could have bought a rebuilt, and thats it. Quadrajets are great carbs IF done correctly.

I agree, quadrajets are EXCELLENT carbs. They are also pretty simple and easy to maintain... once you get the hang of it. They are INFINITY times better than the older Rochester 4 jets.
