Personalized touch to 65 Jetstar I (so people will stop asking what engine is in it:)

For those who don't know, the "425" emblems were used on '67 Delmont 88s so equipped. The font is reminiscent of that used on the similar era 442 emblems, and nicely matches the "Jetstar" script on my car. Nice thing is its not permanent (posts were removed and they are installed with double sided tape), so I can easily remove them when and if I decide to.

Here's what the emblem looks like in its factory application:

So that's a 4251?

Looks great! Nice accent. Really is a "factory should-have". Jetstar 1s are far to often confused with Jetstar 88s. And they are *so* different!!

Nice touch indeed! I have always wished Oldsmobile made some fender badges for the 455 engine.

Thanks...I'm hoping with the new emblem, I'll be allowed to enter my car in a local for-charity car show (they are very picky about who can contribute to their charity; no small-block cars allowed)
