Need help finding a part!!
1965 Starfire, 425ci, th400 trans, air conditioning
I need the metal fuel line that goes from the fuel pump, to the carb!
Fusicks = No
Inline Tube = No
Classic Tube = No
I can try to replicate mine, but that requires buying another tool that I will use once in my life and that seems like a waste

Maybe you've thought of this, but why wouldn't one for a '66 or '67 full-size Olds work? It's the same engine, right? I see that inline tube, as you say, does not show this line for the '65 full-size Oldsmobiles, but they do for '66 and '67. At least for the 425 with 2-bbl carb. Interesting that they don't show one for a 425 with a 4-bbl. I wonder why.
I bought one of these myself back in 2009 when I put one in on my '67 Delta 88 with a 425 2-bbl. Part number OCC6681 on this page:

If you'd like, I can take few detailed photos of it and post them here or email them to you so you can see what it looks like and compare it to what you have. Maybe it's not an exact fit to what you need but could be bent a bit to fit or a new fitting put on one end or something like that.

In investigating a little further, it appears that '65 was different from '66 and '67 in terms of the carburetor as '65 was the last year that Olds used the 4GC. So the problem you're having is probably due to the difference in carbs between the '65's and the '66's and later. That's assuming you have a 4-bbl carb.

If you want to send me your old line, I will bend up a new one for you. I will supply the line and fittings N/C, you just pay for shipping both ways. I can make it in steel, copper, or aluminum. Just PM me and I will send you my address.

The better question is, why wouldn't a fuel line from a 1965 442 work? The 400 and 425 are externally identical and both came with the 4GC carb in 1965. ILT P/N OCC6508 is for a 1965 400 motor with 4bbl.

they didn't have it either. BUT I had a good idea. My convertible is at the shop for maintenance now. I asked my buddy to pull the fuel line off the car and copy it. Bam...metal fuel line for my blue car

Have him make up a few more... you can't be the only one needing a 1965 big car fuel line.
I remember what it was like finding a good metal line for my 64, and at that time nobody repopped those either.
