David, You know, i gave this girl a ride in my car the other night.

She said "WOW, this car is like a rocket!"

"WHAT, no that's impossible" She replied

A friend of mine picked up a 35,000 mile '74 2 dr hatch yesterday with the 350/4bbl TH350. She's been eying the 455 on my engine stand all summer so I'm thinking that might be one of the first mods.

Anyone in the northeast have a good hatch? Also need front bumper valence pieces (3) for a '74.

the hatch will be the same as a nova, apollo, ventura, the bumper valance piece your talking about should be the same as the ventura as well. but not the others. im pretty sure.

I got a 77 Omega F-85 not too long ago and posted about it in the new user forum. I read that only a few thousand were produced in 1977 (could be wrong though).

The last time I saw one of those"not sure what year it was"the owner wasn't even sure if the F-85 badge wasn't just added.I put some W-30 stuff in my motor and thought about adding W-30 badge under the Omega just to make everybody wonder.Only ever saw that one F-85 Omega so they probably are pretty rare. What'd you pay.

4500, bargained down from 4800. Aside from a few Novas I've never seen another late 70s x-body on the road, so I'm guessing they're all pretty rare today.

My 73 Omega

I have a 73! I just found this site during the summer but have not posted. I have had it for a few years and have been slowly trying to breathe life back into it. The body work finally got done this winter. Here are some pictures of what it looks like. I still have a ton of things to do, but it is coming along.

Nice Omega! I wish I never sold mine. I'm currently saving cash and looking for another 73 or 74.

Another Oddball Omega Owner

Here is a few pictures of my 1973 Omega. These are with an earlier build. I am in the process of finishing my new BTR 468 BBO build. I will be reusing the RR/Wenzler Heads / Intake package, with a new 10" Coan converter, Turbo 400, and 3.73 Ch*** 12 Bolt.

I run those dog dishes on my 73 Nova. They were originally off my Dad's old 70 Nova SS. Was always my favorite hubcap for the car.

Was also running the Chevy Dog Dishes for awhile on my Omega until I can across some oldsmobile dog dish styled hubcaps.

Also have a set of Keystone Classics to roll on too!

Remember the book was printed before 77 and the first year for the Omega was 73 so it could go farther either way in the Nova and other Models.

It looks like the only difference between the 75&76 is what's on the first page so a 75 would work it just wouldn't be correct.Remember my book only goes to 76 so I don't know about 77 and up.

grill 001.jpg

76 Grill -group 1.266 part#552714
Panel,Front end -group 1.263 part#552725
Hood -group 8.00 part#414480 75-76/All
75-76/All is not part of the #

For some reason I only got the first page.I'll try again.
