1973/74 Omega: 442 w30 lookalike hood

I wonder if someone every made a 1970 442 w30 lookalike hood with the 2 scoops. Not only asking for companies but maybe someone did it during a rebuild of a 1st gen Omega.
Would like so see some Pics - considering to build a hood during my rebuild project.

I think it would look good on that Omega. I think the scoops would line up with the grilles and look nice.

I found Show Cars Bodyparts in Canade, they make hundreds of different scoops.
They havve also a Cutlass W30 pair of scoops listed for a reasonable price.

This is a matter of personal taste, but most of the aftermarket hoods that force-fit the 70-72 scoops onto other cars look like crap in my opinion. The whole point of the W-25 hood is that the scoops line up with the grilles. The leading edges of the scoops are parallel to the leading edge of the hood. I've never seen an aftermarket hood for a different year that did that. Waaaay too many feature lines that don't match up. It just looks forced. The 81-88 hood below looks the worst. Ironically, the one for the 78-80 cars looks closest to the original from a feature line alignment standpoint (though still not quite right). Your money, your call.

Joe, I'm completely with you - this examples look all crap!

I'm waiting for the measurements. and I only proceed, if the scoops have the same width as the grills have.

from the lines on the hood, there should be nothing look strange with the Omega hood

I never liked the W-25 hood scoops, I had a
1970 442 Pace Car Back in the late 70’s and didn’t like the way the hood appeared from the drivers seat. I was always partial to the forced air scoops Under the bumper of the 68’s and 69’s although I’m sure it was more effective on top of the hood.

In this rendering the scoops seem to line up quite nicely with the grills, so I have to say it’s a pretty good look!
