I screwed up.
I removed one of the chrome trim pieces on the quarter window of my 72 vert before reading not to. I had already bought the vertical quarter window seals. I thought I had read to remove the chrome and although tentative, I did do that without any trouble, other than mostly destroying the plastic spacer material that goes between the chrome trim and the glass. There's rust inside the chrome too, so I will clean that up. My issue is I cannot find the plastic shim/spacer/whatever it's called.
Can anyone help? I plan to call some glass shops too, maybe it's a very common part but I don't see it for sale online.

Window tape. I got some at Premium Auto Glass on So Jordan Rd just south of Arapaho Rd. Put it on the glass, 3 in one oil or something similar, tap the chrome strip on to the glass. then trim the leftover tape with a razor blade.

Here ya go. Not absolutely certain these would fit the Oldsmobile, the chrome looks a little different to me.
