76 golden anniversary grand prix

as is probably the case with many of you, i have too many cars and not enough space/ time for them. i bought her out of bradenton,fl almost two years ago and then bought three more after that as i am doing a restomod and decided not to alter this one. the body is rust free with the exception of the rear footwells which are not bad at all and could be easily fixed. the guy i bought it from did new uphoulstery and carpet, so i did not get why he left the floor without doing it while everything was out anyway. hurst tops are immaculate and do not leak. seals are in excellent shape for the tops. have original hurst plastic box for them.some original paint and shines well. 455 engine, power bucket seat, windows and locks and trunk release. needs very little to be mint or great to drive as is. asking $7500. 401-499-5597 or pm with any questions. dave

Gorgeous car! Buddy of mine has it's sister. His is Firethorn and white top with white interior. Too bad you have to sell it, but hope it goes to a good appreciative home.

Nice car! I had a 73 GP Model J with a 400 a few years ago. They are great drivers!

Yeah, on a 75 degree sunny day, you can't beat it. Take the tops off and cruise to the beach. New England has like a two month window for the right weather for it. I had a non t top g p in 1990 and always wanted another, but with tops. I ended up buying three!

Those cars were just nice. There aren't many of them left around here and the ones that are generally tend to be either rough or pimpmobiles.

The money's right, but it would just end up being another one that disappeared into the garage and didn't get driven.

I felt the price is fair so glad to hear it sounds right. Im into it for a few thousand more than that, but the market on these is too soft so i don't see myself getting what Im asking.i know by looking the car over that it always has been well taken care of so i know if it sells, someone is getting a great car for the money. Ill probably ebay it soon also.

I think the ask is very fair too; especially seeing how it presents itself. The other thing I think is that you're being very realistic taking into account what the market will bring instead of trying to list it for mega millions. Be sure to post lots of pics on the ebay ad that shows all the features: all angles, interior/trunk/engine/BOS and GM docs.

One thing I always liked about the GP was the long sloping hood. It reminded me so much of my 78 Cadillac with the contours and the hood ornament. IMO, the GP has as good or better ride than Caddy ever did. The power/weight ratio will be better too!

thanks guys, i have been a hardcore gm lover all my life! at 17 i had my 78 delta royale (first car), 77 gp and a 1965 buick electra 225 4 door with the 401 nailhead all at the same time!. its pretty cool that 22 years later i have two out of three tributes to the cars i never forgot. i work for a body shop so i have a lift to take some undercarriage shots, as those are the most important ones in my eyes. its alot harder to hide the sins of corossion under the car, as opposed to doctoring up the body to make it look "virgin". ill probably list it on ebay after i get all the right photos. good advice allan.

Nice GP Dave. Sounds like a very resonable price too.
You may get what you want, stick to your guns!
