Trying to find out what its worth
I have a 56 oldsmobile 2 door delta 88 hollywood in absolute great condition that has just under 27000 miles on it. The interior is still the original and is also in near perfect condition. The car has been in home storage for the last 10 years and during the life of the car it was only drove on absolute perfect days. I just want to know roughly what it is worth.

Welcome to CO. You have a really nice model and sounds like it would be in good shape too. Value could be a subjective thing depending upon your market and condition of the car too but perhaps someone will chime in on a value estimate. We would love to see some photos if you have them.

Thanks for the message. The car was my grandfathers and then it was passed down to me. From what I was told growing up was that they made plenty of the 88's but only made 12 of the hollywoods. I would also like to find out what if any truth there is to that.

hi and welcome while I am no expert I can tell you this - the 1st Delta 88 did not appear until the mid 60s (65 I believe)
prior to that they were 88, Super 88, Dynamic 88
later came even more 88 names, Delmont 88, Jetstar 88, etc.
when you say HOLLYWOOD do you mean HOLIDAY?
That was the terminology that was used by Oldsmobile exclusively for a pillarless hartop, both 2 and 4 doors.
There were Holiday 88, Super 88 Holiday, Ninety-Eight Holiday, etc.
Pictures would help identify the model you have, hence a more informed estimate can be given.
