New cutlass owner

Hello fellas,i just wanted to introduce myself before i started asking a bunch of questions. I always loved cutlasses and finally got in the position to buy one. It's a 70' holiday coupe with custom white pearl paint on 22 inch Irocs. I know a lot of people here are not a fan of the bigger wheels but i think it looks great, but i do plan on getting a set of 16's,anyway here's a pic.

Welcome, looks sweet man. The wheels would usually be a little big for my taste but I like the 5 spokes. Congrats on finally getting a cutlass!

welcome.. looks like a really nice car, you'll get some grief from some members on the rims, 16"s or 17"s would work well.

Welcome to C.O.

1970 was a wonderful year; that's when this body style became 'new'. You'll find a fair number of people with varying opinions about the appearance or performance parts of your car. I tend to be more of a traditionalist with the appearance factors, but can appreciate what you've got there.

IMO 16's would not only improve the look, but the ride. There's no give at all in the ones you've got there. Sure you'll find a willing buyer if you decide to sell them.

Is this car 350 or 455 equipped? Reason I ask is that freaking big exhaust pipe. BTW, what's with the busted antenna on the fender? Cutlass didn't have an antenna there, it was contained in the windshield.

Looking forward to your questions and more pictures of your car.

It has a 350 and the antenna isn't busted i just pulled the car out of the garage and when i put the cover over it i remove the antenna. The low profile tires take some getting use to,i like the look but will be getting some different wheels for sure. Thanks for all the comments guys.

Nice paint, we need more pic's. For me Iroc's just don't do it. 16's with some nice rubber will look good.
What is your location ?

Yes, it was typically called the 'two tone option'. Paint instead of vinyl top.
