Any Olds engine , 64 to 76. Easy way is to find a Olds 350 or 403. They will be the easy way, direct bolt in.

Are you just looking for the Block, or a complete engine? I have alot of parts, but no complete engines for sale right now. My shop is in Big Rock,il 60511 I have a shipper for big stuff.

Also not to much work to put in a Big Block either. The only real thing you have to change is belts And some exhaust work. The Jetaway can handle the big block.

So you need block and crank then. I dont have a 330 crank. But i have 350 cranks (same sizes) but its not forged. If your just trying to get it back to stock. It will work just fine. The crank needs turned. I have a set of 330 pistons/rods (cores) 350 crank, flexlate, balncer, and 330 block (67), oil pan, timing cover, oil filter adapter, and all the bottom end hardware. All for $140.

You might find someone with a running 330, or 350 for a good deal. Look around, if you dont find anything i have all the core stuff if you wanna rebuild it.

There is a guy up in Connecticut that has a good running 330 for sale. I think he is asking $400. I have delt with him and he seems like a good guy. Im sure he can ship it. If you go that route. I have a good shipper who is cheap. I can give you his contact info.

what would be a ballpark figure on shipping on the parts you have to louisiana and a ballpark on the engine from CT.

A few things to be aware of. First, all small block Oldsmobile engines are externally identical. That means that a 350, 403, 307, or even a 260 () will bolt in place of a 330. The problem is that the 1964 cars have a lot of one-year-only items that might be a problem for you. The fact that the 64 330 uses shaft-mount rockers is not a problem, but the one-year-only water pump, balancer, timing tab, and accessory brackets will be an issue. You can swap a complete later engine with brackets in place, but the water pump inlet will be on the wrong side (passenger side for 64 vs. driver's side for 65-up). That means that you will need to have the bottom outlet on your radiator moved to the other side. Any good radiator shop can do this for you. Use the 1965 bottom hose and you'll have no problems.

One other thing if you do go with a later motor: The 1964-67 Olds motors use a different crank flange bolt pattern than do the 68-up motors. Use the flexplate or flywheel that matches the motor you pick and again, no problems.

It's entirely your call. I just wanted to present you with options that might be easier to find.
