Looking for my dad's 1964 Cutlass F-85
Hello, I'm new to the forum world so hopefully I am doing thisright. I have been searching for my dad's 1964 F-85 (VIN824F023290) for many years now. He ordered/bought the car newin 1964 (was invited to watch it being built at the Fremont, CA GMplant). I came very close to finding the car in August 2015, butmissed it by about 7 months after finding pics/VIN of the car on theinternet from a sale posting. It was last sold in Vacaville, CA on23-Jan-2015 via eBay. I have no idea if the car is still in CA, or if itis now in another state. When I contacted the seller he did not have thebuyers email or phone info (it was a blind auction via ebay). If anyonehas seen the car or knows who has it, I would be very interested in purchasingit, if possible. The pics of the car show that it is in drivablecondition, but the interior is pretty tore up. Car is not a 442, but mydad did order it with dual exhaust and he installed the rear swaybar. Originally came with the 3 speed manual, but it has beenconverted to a 4 speed automatic. Please either message me or sendme email at psta.rzo@gmail.comif you have any info on the car. It was the first new car my dadever bought. He would be so excited to have it back in thefamily. Thanks!
