Hi welcome the site. Yes you have had a lot of Olds. You'll fit in just fine. If you have any pics that would be great, we like visual aids.

Welcome to CO. We had a thread where people listed their previous Oldsmobiles, I stopped reading it because it got so long, lots of members with a huge list like yours here so you should feel at home here.

I don't buy more Oldsmobiles. Takes all of my money to support the two I already own. Like having two ex-wives to support, good news is they don't talk back and they are fun to be with

I have an issuse with my 55. I have a rear wheel cylinder leaking but I can't fine any one with a wheel cylinder that will except a 1/4" line. Any other cars out there I can get a cylinder that will work? the ones I came accross take a smaller line.

doc93, if there's a casting number on your wheel cylinder would you please post it? I have a couple boxes full of NOS brake parts from the 1930's through the 50's. Some I've keyed out and others I don't know the applications.

OK guys I am in need of direction. I have finally got the brakes taken care of but I was reading some other threads and looking for a inexpensive front drum to disc conversion. It is for a 1955 88 with manual brakes. Any ideas would be help full.

Smile Impressive list , I am just trying to get my feet wet

Hey Doc ,

I am just trying to find a resonably priced 1991-1995 cutlass convertible , preferably with the 3.1 engine . Please keep me in mind if you see or hear of one . Thanks Chris 248-636-5997

disk brake setup

Doc 93
ScareBird classic Brakes makes a conversion for a 55 but you may have to install a power brake master and booster.I've never seen a disk brake setup that didn't use a power master cylinder and booster. Also Mike Pelenton in Gardnervill or Mendon NV. sells a kit but I couldn't find his number or web site, someone might be able to help you out with that one.....Lost in the fifties ...Tedd
