Hello from Py! 1970 Toro.

Hello all, i own a 1970 Toronado. Nugget gold, console (floor shifter), and my goal is to restore it to original condition. The car was sitting since 1974 outside, so it's rotten but not beyond repair. I know i will find kind advices here so i can reach my goal.
Thank you all!

www.toronado.org if you're not already there. Great bunch of people who know Toro inside and out.

Is your 70 a GT? it will have a "Toronado GT" badge on the hood and a cutout dual exhaust rear bumper if it does.

There's a longtime OCA & Toro Chapter member in Kansas who has a Nugget Gold 70 GT that is very similar to yours from your description.

I dont think it's a GT because does'nt have the cutouts on the rear bumper, or badges, but still an odd optioned car.
PS: The speedometer reads in kilometers! (Untill 220 km/h).

The remains of the paint seems to be blue, dark metallic.
