coil springs
I'm rebuilding my front suspension on my 68 olds 442.
Should I replace my coil springs? some people say no because it might change the height my car sits. does it change the height the car sits a lot or A little?
I am going to go with a bigger tire on the back and smaller on the front so it may not even matter.

I would definitely replace them.
When I replaced the front springs, the car sat at the same height with the new springs as it did with the worn out and mushy 40+ year old originals. This is because I installed FE2 suspension springs that have a higher spring rate and 1" lower ride height than the regular Cutlass springs.
You can tailor the ride height to whatever you prefer by selecting the springs with the appropriate specs. I started by finding out what the original springs were, looked up their specs, and compared those specs to the available springs in the Moog catalog.
