72 Olds Convertible Resto Project Chicago Parts Needed
Hey all got a 1972 Cutlass Supreme Convertible winter project here that needs some major metal repair . I'm in the CHICAGO area so anyone local who has any parts please let me know.
I'm looking to build a 442 clone-
I'll be looking for some solid doors, fenders, rear quarters, windshield, trunk pan, 442 hood, 442 grills, & inner rear wheel wells in the near future here as I go along any leads I'd appreciate it of guys with parts in the area-
Thanks!

Welcome to C.O.
72's are the easiest to clone. Most of the parts you need are reproduced so it won't be that hard to get things. Just a note on repros - they don't always fit as well as OEM, so be prepared to spend time 'adjusting'.
BTW, it's sort of a traditional thing here that we beat you unless you post pics of your new project. Don't make me send Ma, Vinny and Luigi....
The other thing you can do is post in the Parts wanted section of this site, and don't forget to check you local CL to see if there's any donor cars you can pick up cheap.

Welcome to CO! Look forward to pictures of your project, post them when you get a chance. Also, if have not done so already, call Fusick's and get one of their catalogs. Whatever you cannot find used, probably will be available in their catalog.

Darrell, you know that the fusick catalogue is available on line? No time delays and no cost involved. They sent one of their catalogues with my last parts order without asking me. I did not appreciate that since all it did was add weight to the shipment. They did give me a partial refund on shipping though.
