It's common to tell members the 'buy it now' price - kinda helps!

Real nice car!

It is? Didn't know that.

Where is this car?? No mention of location. From the pics, this doesn't have the rallye pac gages.

Just curious, why were the heads, carb and valve covers changed over? The red tag on the Qjet suggests it's a rebuilt. Can you post the Qjet numbers from it?

Thanks for posting the options. That is a nicely optioned W30 you have there. Why may I ask are you selling? By the way the carb #'s are on the driver's side towards the rear of the carb near the corner running vertically.

That is the proper carb for a 71 455. Do you also have the full OAI base and top for the filter?

Curious

Who put the stripes on this car & why did they put them on upside down?....the little pinstripe does not go under the wide stripe it goes over it. The stripes dimmensions over the wheels and the radius around the wheels wells are also incorrect. A shame to have to repaint the car to do the stripes correctly.

What happened to the blue 1971 W machine clone that you had on eBay?....do you still have that car or did you trade it for this car? This car was for sale in the Ponoka area last year when you were selling your blue one. The seller at that time was very reluctant to answer questions & none of his adds ever showed the engine bay.

The picture posted above from a year ago looks like it was taken at the Three Hills AB car show...a short cruise from where this was for sale.

Hey....check it out! I thought that car looked familiar. I also noticed the thin stripe was on bottom, but it wasn't until you mentioned it that I realized I had a picture of this car on my computer. And I've had it on my computer for over a year now.

I'm pretty sure this is the same car.

Wow, good eye there guys. Also noted that the mud flaps have been changed, but that's nothing.
Question: Wouldn't a good painter be able to fix that stripe without having to redo the whole car? Paint is something that can be changed all day long right?

You wouldn't have to repaint the whole car, just the panels that have the stripe on it. But.....depending on how long it's been painted and if it has faded at all, you may run into a color mismatch. So you may have to repaint the whole car anyways.

I'd leave it the way it is. It looks fine to me.

Check it out. Whoever bought the car is reselling it at more than double the price they bought it.

That is......unless there are more than one red W30 with the white stripes upside down?

The last auction ended in no sale.

The same seller has relisted with a BIN price.

No one doubled anything.

Car still needs 10 thousand dollars worth of work after purchase to make it right.

Oh......I noticed the bid was around $16000 when it ended. I thought it had sold?

What does it need that would take $10000 to make it right?

Hey Guys. no it didnt sell it ended with out a purchase so i had relisted it with the buy it now price. ive got to be honest im a little shocked that this car hasnt sold , havent had anyone even come to look at it locally?
and I think im priced well under what it should be, I am pretty sure 12k would make this car spectacular ! (even though its nicer than most cars at the show and shines now)
