Need advise on 68 442 conv

Need advise on 68 442 conv

Was my days car he passed away after battle with cancer. Now mine been disassembled for 12 years gonna have to replace complete floor pan, trunk pan, and rear lower quarters. Looking for advise on suppliers with good correct parts that others have had success with.

Sorry but if you need quarters for your 68 Convert you are going to have to buy quarter skins for a hardtop and cut off what you need. The don't make quarters for 68/69 convertible. I am restoring my 68 and this is what I am doing. If the quarters are rusty more than likely the outer wheel well is rusty to and once again you are going to have to use the outer housing for a hardtop. I bought both from THE Parts Place. Make a list of everthing you need before you order to save on the shipping cost. Advise

Thanks figured have to get full skin and cut only bad part can remember was very lower section behind wheel as most do body and frame last parts still have to get from his house I mine will know more when get that done thanks for info

I had to put a new quarter on my '68 convertible. Here's a few pics on how the shop did it. They had to order a repro quarter for a hardtop and cut it to fit.

Looks like they did a pretty solid job. I too will probably be going through this same process for my 68 convertible...

Same here will be doing mine also what supplier did you get your panels from? I am looking at some and floor pan from Auto body specialty company
