The 71 is lonely no more!!!
Ok I have secured a deal for a 66 Cutlass to join the 71. Found this while randomly searching for deals on Olds parts/cars. The car is rust free minus some surface rust on the inside of trunk lid. Body has a few dents and dings but nothing that should require panel replacement. The couple that owns it bought if form an Olds enthusiast who only sold it to keep the soon to be ex from getting it. From what I have been told has a 1970 350 and TH350 from a Delta. (waiting on confirm of casting #'s) Has a 4 barrel intake/carb, power steering/brakes, front disc, SSIII chrome wheels, dual exhaust and red bench interior. From what he was told is the suspension is from a chevelle and maybe a posi also. Believe the original color is white with the red interior and a black vinyl roof. Car currently has a burnt cherry painted roof(slightly fading in spots) but all trim is there. Plan for the car is to strip it for a body on paint job, polish up the chrome, cleanup the engine/regasket/paint, service trans, service rear and maybe add posi if not, cleanup/repair interior and install a stereo system. Overall I will go through it and makesure all good to go. Possibly add A/C to the vehicle also. This car will become my Dad's 60th present and I will drive it across the country to give it to him. My dad loves muscle cars but raised 5 children. He was willing to drive minivans and the beater so mom would have a nicer car. I think its about time Dad has a cool car since he is now a grandpa. I have about 2yrs to get here done so no rush and I can enjoy it myself. Let me know what you guys think here is the tag info/vin/pics
