Woodgrain dash application.

Woodgrain dash application.
I decided to re-do the woodgrain on my dash and ordered the woodgrain with the metal backing. What is the best way to adhere it to the dash?
I also need to remove the bezel around the wiper switch to do this. Any tip's? thanks

I am sure that someone or 2 or 100 have done this before. No help? I guess then I will just glue it on with construction adhesive Just kidding.

re: How to remove the bezel? It comes off from behind the dash. 2 little speed nuts hold it in there. You need to remove the little head on the wiper switch first. It's a really tiny allen head screw that I believe is on the bottom. Just like the controls on the heater/AC.

I got it from The Parts Place. No sticky back. Now that I opened the packages and looked close at it, there was a tag that say's to use the 3m gel trim and emblem adhesive. I might get it installed Wednesday. I'll let you know how it fit.

Good to know. The one I got had a pull off film on the backside that protected the adhesive. They must be getting cheap with some of their parts now. Can't remember who the vendor was for mine- too long ago.
