Olds Horn Button for Comfort Grip Wheel

I purchased a comfort grip wheel off of Ebay for my 65 Cutlass. It came with an installation Kit similar to the pic below. There was no option for an Olds horn button and it came with the bowtie horn. I am looking at various Olds Horn Buttons. From research I understand that the 70-72 442 Horn Button will fit. But I am wondering if the 1968 Olds 442 Horn button will fit (Similar to the one pictured below). Before I buy one off the internet, I want to make sure it will work.

If there are any other Horn Buttons that will work, I would appreciate recommendations as well.

I don't think the '68 deluxe horn button will work. The spring fingers will not hook up with the horn contact. You need the 'Sport Wheel' horn button.

I was hoping not to spend this much on a Horn Button. I guess this is the only option or somehow make a decal covering the Bowtie Logo.

I would post in the parts wanted forum. Maybe a member has a good used one or an extra repop they would sell for less.

The three spoke wheel offered in 1968 used the same button as the 70-77 four spoke wheel. The one you pictured isn't even close. By the way, when you go to install the horn contact, the spring goes in the hole FIRST, then the eyelet (large end down) and then the retaining ring.

Hi Joe,

I broke the spring contact/system, my horn doesnt even work at the moment - another reason why I cannot justify 75 (US) for a horn button
