door lock replacement what am i missing

Here is a pic of the current lock. Looks like there is something missing? How does it hook into the actuator? My problem was that the lock would never pop up the lock so Im lost at to how i fix it at this point.

Please help

Yes you are missing the actuator that slides over the end of the lock. It is held on by a clip aswell. What year and model do you have. I don't have a picture yet, but let me do a quick look.....

Yep, you are missing the arm on the back.
Something similar to this, but this is not your model obviously.

Thanks Rob, you are quick. I had the same problem. My passenger side lock would not work. I was missing the actuator / pawl / tang. I got a pair of clip and actuators from a member here for free. I bought a new set of locks and they came bare. If I had a spare mail it to you. I had my car for about 10 years before I could unlock the door from the outside.
