I'm located in the Dallas TX area and was wondering what kind of estimates to expect.

Would like to get all new carpet in my 85 delta 88 royale.

Between 150 and 250 depending on source and type of carpet. ACC (Auto Custom Carpet) is a good place to consider.

A local shop can do it, but the carpet would most likely need to ordered. ACC is in GA. Replacement carpet for your car shows as $227 + shipping.

Timely question

Thanks for asking the timely question RE: the best place to get new carpeting. I took great inspiration from Rob and removed my interior and I am almost done installing the Mega Mat heat/sound barrier, about 2 sq ft. left to do. I have referenced the great pictures of his job as I worked on my car. I was thinking to buy from Stock Interiors out of South Carolina, but I think all the distributors get it from ACC.

Glad I am helping you out and giving some motivation to a big job!
Many vendors drop ship from ACC - I know Legendary does, or used to 3 years ago...

Rob, do you have a floor mounted headlight dimmer switch on your car? I was wondering if I needed something that was non-conductive under it for safety, as the brass connector terminals are exposed about 1/8"......Won't close completely. Also, I used the sound / heat deadener under the floor mounted shift assembly for the automatic trans. I was wondering if that needed to be grounded to the floor pan. (for neutral safety switch? Or is that a separate system?) Just a thought before it gets covered up!

Thanks!
Paul
