Aftermarket steering columns

Anyone use one? Ididit, Flaming river and maybe a couple of others.
I will be using a floor shift when I redo the drivetrain of my 65.
I don't like or want the chrome or polished look. Just a paintable column that looks stock tilt would be nice.
So having new guts, tilt and getting rid of the gear selector all sounds good to me.

Looking for input - thanks!

Don't those columns all have the large diameter top end, that requires a 1969-up steering wheel?

I love my factory 65 wheel but I would be o.k. with an aftermarket wood wheel like a Grant there are only a couple that have anywhere close to an OEM look to them.
I have a Sport wheel but will probably e-bay it to help fund the 65.

Have to check up on 69 and up issue. Thanks Joe!
