I was taught back in the day. Score the breaker plate, where the points mount . To insure good ground

I just wanted to give an update on my no spark issue. After following the "trouble shooting points ignition" chart found on the site, The problem was the points I purchased form eBay.
I ordered a set from rock auto, installed them this morning and all is well.
Once again a big thank you to everyone who helped me with my problem.
