I have not been able to acertain whether my 65 cutlass is supposed to have a gasket between the reverse lamp housing and the bumper, there wasn't any there,and I haven't found any on my parts cars, but they have seen better days. cant find any repros either. yay or nay on if they came with them.

I don't remember any on my '65 either, but the parts book shows one (other than the one under the lens). Group 2.697; part 5956161. It's called back-up lamp mounting gasket.
