Floor pan drain plug sealer?

What sealer is best for the floor pan drain plugs? Something close to factory?

I've used 3M body sealer or sealant before with good results. It comes in tan, clear...I don't think they have it in black. So...I don't know...I know you like things right and probably want the plugs natural...might have to detail paint the sealant!

The stuff that was on there was a greenish color and very flexable.

I don't know, but I did that on my floor plugs like 14 years ago! I've been through many, many, driving rainstorms, puddles, etc. I drive my car, it's never trailered. It doesn't leak. I just can't remember exactly which 3M product I used.

I'm going to use EastWood's black seam sealer.....just not at that point yet? 2 more months I would think that the factory caulking all happened at the same time with the same butyl type caulking? Funny... my whole DS was never done......guess they had to use restroom
