1955 olds gas pedal gets stuck ?
#2
Could be any one of a litany of things. Broken motor mount. Worn carb throttle shaft bushings. Worn or broken linkage or brackets. Interference from something out of place in the engine compartment (I had this happen to me). Floor mats (ask Toyota about that!).

Pfft. Ask idiots about it. I double up floor mats on my Tacoma, no issue. Although a dealer did chop my pedal and I just about threw the service manager through a window, then made him locate an NOS original and install it. Of course, I got a clutch, so no big deal.

Yeah, I figured I'd pull your chain a little with that...

Ok thank you, I spray the engine compartment carburetor linkage with pb blaster once in a while, So thinking maybe when it wears out the linkage gets stuck.will check the carb throttle shaft bushing.

Or start at the peddle and remove one piece at a time till you find he drag spot and fix it. Most importantly you don't want anything related to throttle control or brake control to rune your day..... Tedd
