Ignition Coil 194 88

I have replaced plugs and ignition wires along with a few other items on the old gal. The ignition coil shows some rust so I am going to replace it. Question I have is : is there any bennefit to purchasing a 35.00 coil vs a 18.00 coil?

If the coil is still functioning well (even after 46 years), I'd be inclined to scuff-sand it and spray it back black. Unless it shorts internally or cooks its oil, not much to go wrong with a coil.

I will say this. In ignition parts, I try to stay with a well-known brand, preferably US-made old stock.
