Thumbs up Casco Man Celebrates-All-things-Oldsmobile

Here is a write-up about my very good friend, in today's issue of the Portland Press Herald (Maine newspaper).
Skip is the OCA Advisor for 1960-61 Oldsmobiles!
Rocketradier, this is the fellow I have been talking about for the last 21 years!

By the way, I helped Skip find his orignal 1961 Starfire 20 years ago.
This car was maroon, when he got it from ChaplinOlds/Cad, back in the day. Today that Satrfire is black.

Nice article, I would like to see his collection, But...they did not make a W31 convertible in 1970, perhaps the newspaper messed up.

Thanks for posting this Jerry! Skip is a great guy. I saw this Pie Wagon at last Sundays Windham Auto Show at the high school. (wasn't as well attended this year b/c it conflicted with another show in Conway NH, and the bikers toy rn, but still a great show!)

That is one impressive little beast he has built. It's always fun to drive by his place & see what he is working on. I wish i could do it more often.

That W-31 is a clone for sure. He got it out of Fl earlier this year.

Mike get this- he only got 3rd at the Windahm show with the Pie Wagon.
I was at both shows (N. Conway,NH and Windham,ME), my time was super short last Suanday, becuase I have to work that very late afternoon/evening! No I did not bring my Toronado to any of those shows.
I wish the heck I caught up with you at the Windham show!!
I saw Skip's wife (yeloow 70 W-31 Cutlass convertible Clone), but I missed Skip at that show.
The owner of the black (with gold guts) 1967 442, was a service manger at Chaplin Olds/Cad many moons ago. He is a wealth of Oldsmobile knowledege!!!!
Both Erine and I need to join the GMO Chapter for sure!

No you could not "out talk" old Henry with questions!!
He is very down-to-Earth and loves to talk Oldsmobiles !

The very first time my Dad I met Skip, back in July of 1989, we chatted for over 2-3 hours.
