Seems a bit dark, believe it was supercars unlimited that had the closest color. Side note, noticed lettered valve covers, think those were on later engines. Not sure what year car engine is for or if it matters to you. Sure someone will chime in with more knowledge.

Problem in Ontario, is they will not ship paint....

Ya, the valve covers are 3/74. This 455 is a 1973 block, E heads. Going into a 1970 Cutlass...

It does look a little dark, but there was another suppliers paint that was darker similar to yours.

I don't think it looks bad and certainly better than the corporate blue used later.

I would use it I'll try an post a pic of mine later, I used thorntons paint, I like the color but I suspect it might be a littler brighter than original color

Looks good Ted. Yours is a little dark, (ferd) mine is a little light, (poncho).

This is the spray bomb I used.

If my wife looks at your engine color, she will want me to pull mine out in the spring to have it painted. ( Poncho you say EH!)

My paint came from Brothers. Not a big fan of dealing with them though. Yes I know the devices in the manifold are in the wrong place they are loose and there to keep stuff from falling into the manifold. Also never got the studs on the water pump back from the engine shop. I'll be hunting for them soon.
