Is this the Y70 body stripe package for a '72?

Mine came with the Y70 originally but I cant seem to find much info on it. Does this car have the Y70 package? Looking to get the exterior/interior back to original, Saturn Gold w/white vinyl top and white int, and the Y70. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Another thing to look at: is this striping painted on or decals?
You have a very good looking car. I'm not a fan of yellow, but it looks decent in this picture.

Would this be the 4th week of March?

Also, the car in the pic isnt mine, just one I found while scouring google, here's mine:

Old pic but looks pretty much the same.
On my next round of goodie buying I'll have to pic up an assembly manual, I'm sure it's full of good info.

Interior was A52 (bench seat) and trim level was ??? I can't read it. Maybe you could check it and post it. All the trim levels are a 3 digit number starting with a 9 so yours is 9??
BTW, an assembly manual is ok, but what you really want is the 1972 chassis service manual.

The hood stripes probably are part of Y70. I don't have a '72 assembly manual in front of me, but there's probably another page which covers the stripes for the hood. Note how the page posted is titled "Body Side Stripes" and is too full to show a picture of a hood as well.

Yes (as 1969W3155) says. In addition, the cowl tag shows that your car was a 72 model year, painted code 53 (saturn gold) body and had a code A (white) vinyl top. I cannot read the letters or numbers beside the ST 72 Maybe you could list them for me? That information will give more info about the body style, production plant, and sequence number. Your VIN (from the front dash will provide more information. Can you post it too?

Thanks to everyone for the great info!

TR 917 - White all Morocceen naugahyde (available with all exterior colors)
53 - lower body paint color = Saturn Gold
A - Upper body vinyl roof color = white
3D - produced in March during the 3rd week
A52 - Bench seat
VIN
3 - Olds division
F-f-85
87-fastback coupe
H - 350 2bbl 160bhp Rocket v8
2 - production year 1972
M - production plant Lansing code
200182 - Lansing production sequence number (this number will not match your body number)

Wow, I'm definitely getting an assembly manual!
If I'm reading the dimensions right the main stripe is just 2 tenths of an inch with a 6 hundredth if an inch stripe above and below that so the yellow car is probably correct. The pics in the manual were probably exaggerated because of the small scale to make it a bit easier to make out.
Too bad she didnt come with the Y73 hood stripes, I like those.
Trying really hard to keep her looking as stock as possible:
Though drivetrain, suspension and brakes are a different story.

BTW, yes you're reading the information right. I would recommend both the Assembly manual and Chassis service manual. They are both incredibly helpful.

Yep, I believe I have everything from the original sale of the car, even the letter from Olds to the original owner thanking him for his purchase.
I was thumbing through the owners manual the other day and it was like stepping back in a time machine, pretty cool.
