Swept the garage, super glued the chrome top dash trim line (bling bling from Amazon ), this & that.

Never mind the 180 speed limit sticker on my dash - it's Kilometers, not miles and it's required for the all season spec'd BFG Radial T/A's

I drove my 442 today for the first time in over 19 years! Still have some bugs to work out and am a long way from it being finished but it sure felt good to get behind the wheel and have it move under its own power. Here's a cell phone pic in my parents' driveway.

66 Cutlass -Midnight Rider

Guys:
Just ordered body/core support bushings and stepped and bought a NOS set of taillight bezels from Ron's Classic Cutlass. I got all the doors, hood, trunk lid and fenders repaired and in etch primer and stored away, also new floors and 1 piece trunk floor installed. I may not be able to type for awhile, too weak from all the blood I had to sell to get this all done in a few months, LOL! Alot of you guys were a big help w/ info along the way. I keep telling myself, it will all be worth it some day, that's what keeps me going.
Thanks Ron

This past week pulled vinyl top, yesterday picked up the re-upholstered seats, and started sanding the paint off of the quarters.

Worked on my drivers side door tonight, has a bunch of metal work that needs to be done.
it will have a tiny bit of filler right under the handle close to the edge there just isn't a way to get the little dings out with out removing the skin

Just finished getting 3 Rear-ends powder coated. One 12 bolt Moser will be a 3.90 for a 442, the other 12 bolt Chevy will be a 3.31 for a vert and the 10 bolt 8.5 will go to an 83 Hurst. Assembly time....

Waxed the car and did a repair on the boot

I did a quicky wax job to get rid of most of the swirls on the trunk lid then repaired and reinstalled the top boot. It's always a b#%ch to get that thing threaded to the back seat sleave....Tedd

Well more than one day but here goes!
Bought a 1991 Olds Delta 88 for 900 bucks from the little old lady up the street. With a second car I went to town this week. Headmen headers, cat delete, x-pipe. new starter, oil change, new edlebrock 600 carb with spacer and fuel line re-route for an external filter. Got the car back today and it sounds better than it ever has. New piping is welded up to a nicely broken in pair of 40 series flows. needless to say..I wont be taking the Delta to work tomorrow!!

66 Cutlass Midnight Rider

Guys:
My NOS tail light bezels showed up on Friday for my 66 Cutlass, I bought them from Ron's Classic Cutlass. MAN are they nice, still in the original boxes and shine like a new penny! The good stuff is out there, but you really have to put in the time and follow every lead you can get to find the quality you want. I have found some really high end pieces from you guys over the last couple years and I am sure they will put the restoration over the top.
Thanks Ron

Waited another 4 days for the seat belts Scott sent out on Monday April 7th. USPS Express package is reportedly at my local customs office since last Thurstay (April 17th) "already", but not to be found.

F*ck USPS and DHL. Thanks to Scott for caring and sorry for the hassle with this shipment.

My 19 Month old girl will be able to drive before my Cutlass is street legal:

Replaced 4 inch hose in gas line coming out of tank. It was a slight leak dripping down corner of tank....and then onto the passenger side exhaust pipe. Kinda scary. Now driving comfortably again.

Sooo... With a good conscience I'd say I'm done with everything.

Took a day off tomorrow to get temporary 5-day plates and insurance, to drive to the washing/vacuuming place and then to the inspection/MOT/DMV/TÜV stuff.

Pushed my appraisal to next week to have some more time for shoe shining.

Yikes. Hold my hand!
