Value of a 330 motor

I'm going to be doing an engine swap later this summer-
Wondering if there is any value in a good strong running 1966 330.

There is a Manual tranny behind it right now, so it has the M/T crank in it.

The engine was rebuild about 10 years ago, runs good, good O/P and doesn't smoke.

Any idea what i should ask for this thing? Figure i'll try Locally w/ craigslist first, and advertise it before i pull it out, so someone could come and see it run/drive it.

Once its out of the car though, what would it be worth?

....BTW.. I'm not a stickler for originality & don't have room to store an extra engine i don't want, thats why i'm considering selling it not keeping it

anyway, input appreciated

I put mine up for $900.00 this summer and did not try real hard to sell it. I could have sold it a couple times for 700.00 but I was not quite ready to take the car apart yet.

A forged MT SBO crank by itself should be worth $150. The heads are #3s? Another $100 or more for the pair.

At least easier to ship heads and a crank than a whole engine. That would increase your market substantially. I know in my part of the country there's only a few of us Oldsmobile fanatics within driving distance of my home town
