Have you ever replaced a convertible top before?

I needed the top replaced on a '75 Delta 88 convertible I owned back in the 1990s. Having never done anything like this before, there was no way I would have tried it myself. Some things are worth leaving to the professionals.

I have done three and it is really not that hard. It takes patients and two people to do it well. Replacment tops come with small holes where the rear hold down strips go. I recommend you do the top, pads, well liner, and the tack strips in the top all at the same time. Get a good power stapler and take your time. A warm place to do it helps. about a 6 hour job. If you have one on it now make measurements from the bow above the back window to the body and makes notes of that. I also recommend new seals at least at the front header.
