Rebuilt 455 listed on ebay, shop North of me a few hours.
I was surfing ebay and came across a rebuilt 455 in the Northern part of Oregon. The ad says it has a steel crank, and is setup to go with a 4 speed. It also has Ka heads although the ad calls them K heads.
I sent him a message asking about the steel crank, and commented that in the photos it doesn't look like the crank has a pilot bearing or bushing in it. Even though there's a manual transmission flywheel bolted to it. His reply was a single *
It may not be likely that someone from here would be considering buying this motor. But just in case... I wanted to share my thoughts here and provide some information to consider.

Here's my question and his response. He's obviously an unscrupulous d__k.

Dear 69twistedmind,
How can you bolt up that 4-speed without a pilot hole and bearing in the crank?
And, how do you know it's a steel crank - any pictures of the unique steel crank characteristics available?
Also, what type and model pistons and rods?
Thank you,
- Eric"
