At some point a package shelf speaker was added to my '65 but it has a black plastic grille on it. I was wondering what the correct grille looks like. I see many on ebay, some chrome and some painted. What do you have in your cars? I'm looking to change mine but not sure what I need..

My 67 is a Supreme, so it has the deluxe mesh package tray. So no speaker grille. Not sure how the smooth shelf was done, sorry.

I have a 65 Jetstar 1. The rear speaker is in upper center of the back seat, not on the shelf. I don't think that is the area you are talking about? if it is let me know and I can get a picture of it for you.
