NOS 69 W-30 stuff on Fleabay

Here's a rather interesting auction fer you 69 W-30 guys. I am not sure that I know the seller but I might have had some dealing with him. The "God Bless" sounds familiar. So what your back pockets. [ I never have been able to figure out what religion and parts have in common.]

I'm not '69 expert, but that stuff looks like the real deal, and HAS to be worth a lot, especially to someone with a real car that has somehow lost the unique W30 parts over the years. Might also be worth a lot to someone who wants to MAKE a real car.

As for the "God Bless" part, pretty sure there is another guy who likes to say that...this one however has over 3600 EBay transactions, many (if not most)of them as a seller and no negative feedback.

I say to the person willing to pony up the cash, he will be happy with his purchase. Money is just filthy green paper with no intrinsic value anyway.

Yup, looks legit. I do wonder about "NOS parts" when the ad has this disclaimer:

Note: All items are used. Therefore, all items are sold as is as stated!

Ok now i get it. It isn't parts and religion, It's money and religion. That makes a lot more sense to me now.

Ok, I'll bite. What does this have to do with the price of tea in China?

Are you trying to sell one or just get the commission off of someone else's sale?

The short block is a 69 Toro 455
The D heads sell for $4K
The air cleaner is probably worth in the $500 - $1000 range
A used carb, maybe $500. That's a loooong way from $20K in my book (and that auction for W-30 parts doesn't include the short block, just the heads).

Let's just say that NOS hose clamps are not of interest to me. I'd say the W-30 parts auction value is around $5K, which is why he won't be selling them to me.
